And they lived happily ever after...

A while ago I posted a story about the Dove family that took up residence in my friend's basket of petunias hanging on their balcony.

In another post, I updated the story with a picture of the "kids" (Petunia and Willoughby) with their Mom.

And for those of you who would like to see the "rest of the story", I have two more pictures.

The Doves - Happily ever after.jpg

I wonder if Willow and Morey will use the same nest again this summer.

There's a picture of the kids shortly before they ran away
from home in the extended entry.
Don't you think they're adorable?

What a beautiful family - we have a dove pair living in our yard and they are attached to the hip! It's wonderful to see such happy couples!

The high birds never fight with the low birds. Ever notice that?

The empty nest. Hmmm I wonder what that's like.

Birds, birds do unspeakable acts whenever I wash my car, I find it difficult to admire them. Kind of like admiring a panther which is about to eat you only not quite so severe, just messy.
