A while ago I posted a story about the Dove family that took up residence in my friend's basket of petunias hanging on their balcony.
In another post, I updated the story with a picture of the "kids" (Petunia and Willoughby) with their Mom.
And for those of you who would like to see the "rest of the story", I have two more pictures.
I wonder if Willow and Morey will use the same nest again this summer.
There's a picture of the kids shortly before they ran away
from home in the extended entry.
Don't you think they're adorable?

aww so cute...even if they don't look anything like their parents. :D
I wonder if they will return....ours returned from the last two years.

Posted by: Dawn at July 9, 2005 08:44 PMThe high birds never fight with the low birds. Ever notice that?
Posted by: mark at July 9, 2005 11:23 AMThe empty nest. Hmmm I wonder what that's like.

Posted by: Vito at July 8, 2005 02:18 PMBirds, birds do unspeakable acts whenever I wash my car, I find it difficult to admire them. Kind of like admiring a panther which is about to eat you only not quite so severe, just messy.
