I just love spring.
My friend M from work just sent me a picture of the dove nesting in his hanging basketful of pansies. There are the requisite 2 eggs and two parents.
This is the 3rd family of doves they’ve hosted two families last year and so far, one this year.
We have a lot of doves in our yard,
but have never been fortunate enough to see their nests.
WAY too friggin' cute!

And here we are on May 3 and I still haven't seen your monthly calendar of events. [*drumming fingers*] Hmmm...

Posted by: Karen at May 3, 2006 07:53 AMI remember last years doves....they are cute.
We been feeding ours since last year as well. They don't leave for the winter and they are so cute.
I am looking foward to more pictures.

Posted by: Joe at May 2, 2006 04:08 PMDon't you just love Spring? We have two pairs of doves that live among our trees. I think they enjoy watching us as much as we enjoy watching them!
Posted by: Sharon at May 2, 2006 03:56 PMWe have a family of doves that nests in the tree right outside our picture window.
Posted by: Jules at May 2, 2006 11:51 AMI'm passing on a meme over at my blog and I would really enjoy it if you'd give it a try.
Posted by: Brenda at May 2, 2006 10:15 AMSo serene. It's wonderful that they feel safe in that little spot where they've born so many babies.
Posted by: brenda at May 2, 2006 10:13 AMDoves are great. We used to have a pair who lived with us each spring. The same ones too.
