Last May we planted a redbud tree in our yard to replace the very old once beautiful flowering crab tree that has to be taken down this year (after the side that's still alive) finishes blooming. We watered it and fertilized it and watered it and watered it.
We gave the tree a name, "Oscar's tree" after our friend, Oscar the cat, down the street.

Thank you again, Oscar's people for the tree.
We just can't wait till next year!
I think I have about 15 passwords to remember at any given time.
And some of them change every 90 days. And have to have 1 character, and 1 capital letter. And some of them have to be 4 characters and some of them 8 or more!
With my mind so full of that "important password stuff," no wonder I can't always remember peoples names, or what I had for dinner last night.
Or where we're supposed to be on Saturday night.
HOW ABOUT YOU – GOT ANY PASSWORDS?….
Yesterday we went to this Museum and became members.

We had a really great day wandering around the museum. And they're having a War*ner Brothers exhibit, and yesterday, they had hours of Bugs Bunny cartoons. I'm not wild about cartoons, but Don just loves them. Along with our membership, we are able to go to dozens of other museums on this one membership.

It wasn't true. She's been arrested. It's safe to eat here again. Actually, it always was.
Even the Chili.
Have a great weekend!
Another item has been banned from airplanes, and anyone caught with one will have to give it up as they pass through security.
Lighters cannot be placed in checked luggage, either. They have been banned from being checked for 30 years.
But officials say that matches are still allowed, mostly because the government says they would be too hard to detect at checkpoints.

It was explained, "If you’re going through the security check point, we’ll detect it, and tell the passenger to either take it back to their car, or give it to a loved one that’s seeing them off. Or they can give it to us, and we’ll dispose of it properly. But once you turn over something to us, and you surrender it to us at the security check point, you won’t get it back."
The Transportation Security Administration has banned lighters in fear that they could be used to light explosives on a plane.
Don't forget that Sunday is National Cheeseball day - a wonderful day to celebrate.
If you don't have a recipe, maybe you'd like to try mine. Or, if you don't like food preparation, maybe you'd like to purchase one (not a bad idea).

Combine softened cream cheese and Cheddar cheese, mixing until well blended. Add remaining ingredients, except nuts: mix well. Chill. Shape into ball. Roll in chopped nuts. Serve on snack crackers.

Ray Kroc opened the Des Plaines restaurant in 1955. First day's revenues-$366.12! No longer a functioning restaurant, the Des Plaines building is now a museum.

Montpelier, Vermont is the only U.S. state capital without a McDonalds.

Anybody know the "hidden magic?
I think Spring has finally sprung here in Bucks County Pennsylvania.
We have lots of daffodils, and the promise of tulips in our front garden. ![]()
We have opened our bedroom windows, and it so nice to wake up and hear the birds chirping away.

When I was a little girl, my neighbor, Jimmy, the little boy across the street couldn't pronounce my name. He always called me Cassie-B.
Through the years, I've always wanted to use that name for something.
When Buzz set up my blog site, he asked me what name I wanted, Cassie-b was my very first choice.
Thanks, Jimmy.
oh- and my first name is not Cassie.
Do you use your actual name for your blog name?
Anybody want share how you chose your blogsite name?
We had our annual family brunch on Sunday at the General Lafayette Inn & Brewery

This year there were 20 family members in attendance, 15 adults, 2 teens and 5 children. The folks at the Inn were clever enough to give us a private dining room for our family. We tend to be very social and make a fair amount of noise.
That’s probably good.
I wouldn’t want to see the kids scared.
Oh, and thanks to you bloggers and blog readers for coming to our brunch

Maybe you'd like to stop by and say hello, or something
Boy - are we getting them today
But - they bring the flowers that bloom in May.
I wonder if it's raining where you are.
