I’m going to try this one

Don and I were having breakfast at a local diner.  We sat at the counter, because there were no booths, and a very nice man sat down next to Don and started talking.  He talked about a lot of things, but this topic seemed quite interesting to me.  He was visiting friends in Wisconsin, and they served a drink that they had made, and he thought was great.  I came home, logged on to the internet, and found the recipe at this website:
Cherry Bounce cherries copy.jpg

• 2 Quarts cherries-rinse & leave on stems
• 2 fifths vodka
• 2 Cups sugar
• Put in large jar & keep in cool dark place for 3 months
• Strain through coffee filters.
-Cheapest vodka works fine
-Can halve the recipe
-I age it on top basement shelf that doesn’t get much light
-Do not shake or disturb while aging
-Serve in small glasses

If I get started now, maybe I can serve some of this hopefullly delicious drink during the holidays
