Weekend plans –
We don’t have any. I like that.
But I think we’ll start with breakfast out and then a bit of shopping.
Maybe we can get to see that movie I’ve been hearing so much about. Click here for a preview.
I don’t know how your weekend looks, but I hope you have a good one!

This law is still on the books
Don read this interesting fact to me this morning from the newspaper:
In Gainesville, Georgia - The Chicken Capital of the world, it is illegal to eat chicken with a fork.
My friend, Smitty, grew up in Gainsville.
I’m going to check with him about this one.
Fantastic Weekend!
Don and I went to a wedding in Baltimore last weekend (about a 2 hour drive). We stayed in a waterfront hotel, and the reception was at the same hotel.
We also spent some time playing tourist on the water taxis.
After Brunch and a little touring on Sunday, we headed home.
What a great time we had!

What to wear?
I’m planning on a little telecommuting next week, and am trying to decide on my wardrobe.

Are you Ready for Some Football?
“The word “genius” isn’t applicable in football.
A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.” –
“Our strength is that we don’t have any weaknesses.
Our weakness is that we don’t have any real strengths.”
“Not only is he ambidextrous,
but he can throw with either hand”.
And my personal favorite –
“Men, I want you just thinking of one word all season.
One word and one word only:
SUPER BOWL !
My favorite team is the DALLAS COWBOYS!

A great evening!
Last weekend we went out with friends (3 couples) to have an end of summer/birthday celebration.
We have been going to the same restaurant for a long time, and have had the same waiter all these years. The food is often cooked tableside (flames and all) and the dinners were delicious.
Now we have to wait till next year to do it again.

Do people still stop wearing white shoes after Labor day?
When I was a teenager, it was a strict rule that you must put away your white shoes after Labor Day. I don’t know if that very important fashion rule applied in other parts of the country, but it was really important in my neighborhood.
If you went to my school (in Delaware County, Pa) after Labor Day wearing white shoes, everyone would laugh at you and talk about you behind your back. Which, FYI, I never did.
If it’s still a fashion no-no, I guess it’s time to clean out my closet.

How do you say it?
And which do you say,
Autumn or Fall
