Are you Ready for Some F00TBALL?
Thinking about the upcoming S. Bowl?
I found this recipe that I’m going to try for game time. It sounds good - and very easy
Tipsy Kielbasa Appetizers
1 package kielbasa
1 bottle chili sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1 can beer
Slice kielbasa into 1-inch pieces. Place in saucepan. Combine chili sauce, brown sugar and beer. Pour over kielbasa, and simmer for 45 minutes. Serve warm with toothpicks.

My son has requested that I make my meatloaf for Superbowl Sunday; but oh would he love this. I’m going to have to try this sometime for both my dauther and him.....they both love kielbasa. Thanks Cas.

Is there anything that you can use to substitute for the beer?

Since I’m of Polish heritage, I’m a big fan of kielbasa. There’s a meat market in Hamtramck that produces a couple dozen varieties themselves on site. I’m thinking this recipe here calls for smoked rather than fresh. You think?
