HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Many countries celebrate an Independence Day.

The United States celebrates their Independence Day on July 4th.

Only two people signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4th , John Hancock and Charles Thomson.

Most of the rest signed on August 2, but the last signature wasn’t added until 5 years later.

Happy 4th of July Cassie!

My hubby and I were in college in Philly in 1976 - a big year for American celebrations. I played a role in an American Independence play that our college was staging to celebrate the Bicentennial. It was a little comical for this loyalist smile
