I have to call these people
This is the first time I’ve been requested to do this.
You’re the second person this week to talk about that. I was called when I lived in the UK but I wasn’t needed.
The last few times I had to call I wasn’t needed. I’m glad they finally instituted the call system. The first few times I had to serve I would have to go there every day and wait hours until they’d say I wasn’t needed. Which brings me to this question, how come some people (like me) get called numerous times while some people never get called?
I have been called about three times since moving to USA, but as I am not a citizen yet,I get to decline. Yay!! I did my share of jury duty when I lived in New Zealand.
I was able to avoid this when I was younger, because I moved around so much.
Don’t know if or when I’ll be called now. I’ve been in the same place for 15 years.
You know, I have no idea if we are required to do jury duty here. Nobody I know has ever done it. And yet we do have juries.
It wasn’t a request.
