May -

As I was looking at this calendar of unusual holidays for May, I was simply amazed at how many days I would like to celebrate.  I can usually choose one or two events, but this month I don’t think I can limit it to so few.

I hope you can find an extra day or two to celebrate.

Happy May!

It amazes me how many “special” days there are. When I was a radio producer, I started off every morning reviewing the holiday list and deciding which ones I’d ridicule on air. Good times!

BTW, I found your link on Jamie Dawn’s blog and decided to follow it home. I’m glad I did, as your site is a compelling read. I love how you’re so involved in your community.

I look forward to reading more of your work, and hope you’ll pop by my blog as well.

All the best,

Carmi

These are too cool; and funny.

My daughter’s birthday is May 1st, so there is another celebration day for me in May, right off the bat.

My hubby’s b-day is May 20, which also happens to be Be a Milionaire Day.  I plan to celebrate BOTH that day.  I’m just wondering how to become a millionaire so I can celebrate it.

Salad month sounds good to me.  This is the time of year when I eat more fresh veggies and fruit.  It seems that during the winter, I always slack off in this area.  Now, it’s salads and stir fries and celery with peanut butter, etc.

I plan to observe National Prayer Day.  Our country needs it, our troops need it, and our leaders need it.
And everybody said.... AMEN!
