Scarecrows

Don and I went to Peddelr’s Village in Lahaska PA to see the annual Scarecrow competition.
There were dozens of unusual scarecrows scattered throughout the shopping village.
We had to stop and take a few pictures.

While we were out, we went to a wine tasting.  I didn’t discover any new “favorites”, but I liked trying a few new local wines.image

Some of those scarecrows look unusual, some look darling.  I haven’t been wine tasting for quite some time.  Sounds like fun.

I don’t know what it is about wine, but I just never acquired a taste for it. Doc once told me to drink a couple of glasses a day (after my heart attack), but I just couldn’t stomach it.

Wow, those “crows” are cool looking, people sure do go the mile, don’t they? Very cool pictures Cassie, thanks for sharing.

I’ve always been amazed at people’s abilities to make scarecrows, I guess because I’ve never had any luck with it. Those look like neat ones.

Sounds like you had a good weekend. And the Cowboys won too.

How fun! It must be fall, and I love scarecrows. We don’t have many around here. Lots of crows, though, so maybe we need some.

Hey, CJ, can I have your share of the wine? smile

How fun!
What creative scarecrows.

We have a wine tasting tour right here in Hot Springs, and I have never tried it out.  I am not a drinker, but it would be neat to take the tour and sample the local wines.
