It is truly amazing, all the whistles and gadgets now available on kitchen appliances.  I am always looking but our old stove and fridge refuse to give up.

I kind of envy you Cas...it’s exciting getting a new refrigerator.  They have such cool ones out there now that do everything under the sun...and they look so great.  Sometimes I just check them out. I don’t need one yet, but I love looking anyway.  Have fun looking....

Getting a new refrigerator can be a good thing, according to a magazine story I just read in AARP.  To quote, “Think of health care reform as if it’s an Energy Star appliance.  Yes, it costs more to replace your old energy-guzzing refrigerator, but over time the savings can be substantial.”

Not sure I agree with the sentiments in the article, but I thought I would share it nonetheless.
