We finally bought a new tv
.
We have the new one sitting on top of our old console model, which still works just fine.
Don has found someone that we can give it to.
It’s a shame to throw away something that still works.
I guess we’d better shop for a stand.

Congrats Cas! For someone who just loves to watch movies and tv shows....this is a really big deal. I fully appreciate how much you’ll love this big screen. All my kids either have them or are getting them. Many happy hours ahead for you and Don....
Nice! We just love (what we refer to as) our big ass TV. Especially for football! Do you have hi def available? You and Don will feel like you’re at the movies. Just turn off the lights and make some popcorn!

Wow! What a fine gadget! I suppose we’ll be looking for one of the new fangled TVs eventually but I’m not sure I want a big one, I’d have to build a room to put it in, hahahahaha.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh we need one of those. Our TV is acting up too. Wished you would have blogged on what brand/size you bought and why. I’m still debating on what to get.
I still have my 15 year old console TV. I cant afford a big fancy one like that. My DISH will provide an HDTV update box so I can wait some more.

We are going to find one before next February when everything switches over to digital.

How sweeeet! Gary (hubby) is wanting one that hangs on the wall, one of those great big monster ones you know? (rolls eyes) I just can’t see sinking so much money into something that we won’t be watching but maybe one night, two at the max, a week. He’s gone all week long, I don’t like watching much TV by myself, I DVR a bunch of stuff and watch it when he’s home. Anyway, Congrats on your new baby, I’m sure “it” will fit in just fine, with everyone. 
We recently bought a big HDTV and we are enjoying it. It just happened to fit perfectly on the stand we had bought a few years back for our old TV.

That’s terrific! We have small televisions in our bedroom and in our bonus room. One of these days, we’ll get a big screen TV.
I think when you go from a small screen to a big screen, it must feel like you’re watching TV in a movie theater.
