Don’s Philadelphia Cheesesteak
About a week ago, I posted Don’s Philadelphia Cheesesteaks on the Witches Kitchen. And I thought that maybe some of you bloggers who check in here would like to see the recipe. These are really good.
We were having an extremely impromptu dinner (Don called me at work and said he had invited 11 people for dinner that night), and Don decided to make one of his specialties.
Minute steaks – about 2 per sandwich – splurge and get good quality steaks.
Fry them in butter, pulling them apart as they fry.
Put American cheese on top, cover for a minute to melt the cheese, then stuff into steak or hoagie rolls.
Add sautéed mushrooms and onions to your taste.
Serve with coleslaw or chips
You’re in for a big treat.
