Happy 4th Blogaversary to Me
I can hardly believe it’s been four years since my first post.
I posted This recipe on my very first post. And was I nervous.
It’s one of our favorites,
and possibly the best macaroni and cheese in the world.
Nanny Mac (or My Mother’s Macaroni and Cheese)
2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked
1 10 ounce package cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup flour
8 tablespoons butter
3 cups milk

Butter a 2 quart casserole with about 2 tablespoons of butter
make a cheese sauce with 6 Tablespoons of the butter, flour, 3 cups milk and the grated cheese.
Mix with hot cooked pasta, and let sit till cold. (very important)
Top with a lot of additional grated cheddar cheese.
Bake at about 375 degrees for about 35 minutes or until very brown and bubbly on top.
