Mother and puppy

A very good friend of mine has a son stationed in Iraq. 

His group (unit?) is stationed along the border of Iraq and Kuwait.

They have befriended one of the homeless dogs that are so prevalent there (and are perpetually hungry). 

Here is a picture of their adopted dog and her one puppy. 

Either that’s all the puppies she had, or all that survived.  The picture of the puppy is in their Hummer.  It was a cold night and the guys wanted him to be comfortable!
